    Description

    Antique Victorian era C.F. Monroe Wave Crest Opal Ware Billow Ware hinged jewelry box.
    Wonderful hand painted white enamel with white, pastel pink and green background colors in floral pattern.
    5 inch diameter
    5 inch tall
    Original silk liner has come unattached around the back hinge of the base.  Lid silk liner is intact.
    Decorative gold colored base ring and hinge rings.
    No chips, cracks.  There were once 4 feet on this that have been removed as seen by the solder marks on the metal base. This box sits level and does not rock uneven.
