Kanawha Glass Decanter "Balloon" Series Hand Blown

Description

This is a hand blown Kanawha glass decanter.  There were two color combinations made.  One is crystal glass with pink swirls in the glass.  Those decanters quite often appeared light brown where the decanter sits on the base.  This decanter coloring is yellow, white and pink swirls in the crystal glass.  The pontil is quite nicely done.  The decanter has the nickname  of "balloon" as that is what it looks like.  Kanawha mostly did mold blown glass.  That is what makes this series rather special.  The decanter stands 10" high with the stopper and is 6" in diameter.  It is free of chips, cracks or dings of any kind.  There are a few small air bubbles in the glass and are not considered defects just inherent to hand blown glass.  Please ask all questions prior to bidding so there is no buyer's remorse.
